pet policy
Guests who wish to bring a dog to one of our “Pet Friendly” properties MUST request in writing (via email at cathy@vacationriverrentals.com) and state “I agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Pet Policy at vacationriverrentals.com” and you MUST also provide the following information: breed of dog, weight of dog, if the dog is up-to-date on vaccines, and recently treated for fleas and ticks. Pet approval will be in the form of an email.

Terms and conditions to agree to in exchange for permission to have your dog join you at the property:
- Agree to keep my dog under control at all times.
- Agree to keep my dog on a leash while on the property or in a crate/kennel when left alone in house.
- Agree to follow local City Ordinance
- Agree not to leave my dog unattended for any unreasonable periods.
- Agree to clean up after my dog IMMEDIATELY and properly (SCOOP the POOP)
- Agree not to leave food/water outside where it may attract other animals
- Agree to keep my dog from being unnecessarily noisy or aggressive and causing any annoyance or discomfort to others and will remedy immediately any complaints made by other guests.
- Agree to pay a $25 per day, per pet, fee.
- Agree to pay an additional $25 pet cleaning fee (this is for interior ONLY and NOT picking up after dog in yard)
- Agree to pay an additional Pet Deposit of $250 that is 100% refundable if no damage is found, if the dog is picked up after in the yard and all items listed here are followed.
- Agree to furnish upon request date of last rabies vaccine and date of last flea and tick treatment.
- Agree that Vacation River Rentals reserves the right to revoke permission to keep my dog on the property during my stay if I do not follow all the guidelines outlined on this page.
- Agree my dog is 40 lbs or under.
- Agree that my dog will NOT be allowed on any furniture or beds. If dog hair is found on beds or furniture my Pet Deposit will NOT be returned to me.
